Acesso para todos: An App for Accessibility Complaints
Acesso para Todos is a free iPhone app developed by DigitalWks Producoes Web Digitais Lda. It falls under the Lifestyle category and aims to involve and hold society accountable for accessibility issues. The main objective of the app is to facilitate and streamline the process of filing complaints about non-compliant accessibility and mobility situations in both public and private spaces, in accordance with legal requirements. All complaints are sent immediately and automatically to the relevant authorities.
Despite the legal obligation for all public spaces to be accessible, the reality in our country is that there are still many obstacles preventing individuals with motor disabilities from moving around normally. With this in mind, the Associação Salvador created the Acesso para Todos app. It allows users to rate and share accessibility information about various locations, as well as report any issues they encounter. It's an app for everyone.
All complaints are sent immediately and automatically to the relevant supervising entities, with the Associação Salvador being informed. The app can be used by anyone free of charge.
